This scheme is the 7th variation of the panda scheme at Sichuan Airlines. The panda cub featured is Sanyou 三优, the giant panda adopted by the airline and now its official mascot. San (三) is chinese for three and the cub's name was chosen to match the airline's IATA code "3U". The arrival of new generation widebodies at Sichuan Airlines also marks an additionnal step in the "Panda Route" network expansion program (note the additional titles aft of the wing). The cabin is also decorated extensively with pandas.

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of the launch of the Shimanekko mascot promoting tourism to Shimane prefecture. FDA serves Izumo Airport in the prefecture. Both sides are different with the starboard side showing the mascot as both an FDA flight attendant and a mechanic.

The aircraft was finally flown to China in June 2024, although it had performed its first flight and was delivered in fall 2023. The arrival of new generation widebodies at Sichuan Airlines also marks an additionnal step in the "Panda Route" network expansion program (note the additional titles aft of the wing). The last batch of World Natural Heritage Registration for the Okinawa & Kagoshima Prefectures saw an aircraft with decals at each JAL, J-Air and JAC. The area concerned by the registration consists of Amami Ōshima Island, Tokunoshima Island, the northern part of Okinawa Island and Iriomote Island. The three mascots present on the decals were: Kui-chan (Okinawa Rail), Amakuro (Amami rabbit) and Yamaneko Maya (Iriomote).

The arrival of new generation widebodies at Sichuan Airlines also marks an additionnal step in the "Panda Road" network expansion program.

This aircraft is the first A350 of Sichuan Airlines (a Sri Lankan not-taken-up frame) and it was rolled out in Toulouse in September 2017 but due to certification delays was not delivered to the Chinese airline until August 2018. The aircraft features famous playful Sichuan pandas.

To celebrate the introduction of its new flagship plane -the 777- Azur Air decided to paint the first plane in a special livery. A bear character affectionately nicknamed Michko was chosen to represent a Russian tourist on holiday; note there Michko is also visible on the belly of the aircraft, so it can be seen from below when the plane is flying.

Miyagi Prefecture is the central prefecture in the Tōhoku region with capital Sendai. As the local regional airline, Ibex is a logical partner of the prefecture and city tourism board and it was decided that starting May 2018 a CRJ of the airline was to sport decals of the mascot of the prefecture to boost tourism. The mascot is called Musubimaru and represents the region's abundant food with a "rice ball face" and the helmet with crescent of regional ruler of the Edo period Masamune Date. Both sides were different. A new design was introduced in April 2021 (#2).

The design of this third Bear Do Jet was based on Hokkaido's four seasons. The front part of the plane was painted with spring flowers blooming all at once. Summer prairie was featured on the part on top of the wings while automn colours and animals preparing for winter could be seen farther backwards. Winter with snowy landscape and blue tones completed the scheme.

Short-lived V Air -the low-cost unit of now defunct TransAsia Airways- used the Formosan Balck bear as a logo, and this aircraft had the airline's mascot featured in bigger. The operations were merged back to TransAsia in fall 2016.
