Queensland-based operator Flight West teamed up with local rugby club North Queensland Cowboys (Townsville) in 1996 and 3 aircraft took the club' colours, including E110 Bandeirante VH-XFM. The Bandeirante and Brasilia had titles promoting the team's other sponsor, the XXXX beer brand.

This former Piedmont/US Air Fokker was added to the fleet of Canadian regional opertor Time Air in January 1991, as the carrier was celebrating its 25th anniversary. The basic bare metal livery it wore with its previous operator was retained and the aircraft gained a fully polished "silver bullet" finish to mark Time Air's "silver" anniversary.

The large green titles were added in partnership with the country's tourism bureau as early as April 1990. Leased aircraft (747s from KLM/Nationair, A300s from Air Liberté & LaTur) also had the special titles on top of hybrid schemes. Note the number of short-haul aircraft that wore the decals is unclear, and the DC-9 did not carry them.

Swedish regional & charter carrier Linjeflyg (LIN) created one of the very first special liveries in Europe, wrapping this Fokker 28 with a typical Swedish countryside landscape rendering. This was part of a partnership with the official national tourism board and its "Sverige är fantastiskt" campaign.
