9Air was a partner of China National Radio's Cloud Listening on the occasion of the June 29, 2021 celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The airline broadcasted "The Red Mark" live on its planes flying certain routes; it is a live show presenting the "red story behind the 100 vicissitudes and representative revolutionary cultural relics". Titles on the port side only.

To celebrate its first aircraft purchased directly from Boeing, 9Air applied to the aircraft a claret red tail with a gold logo (the colours of luck in China). Note this combination is very similar to the one in use at parent company Juneyao. The first MAX 8 of the airline was also delivered with the same tail scheme in October 2018, as was a further 738 delivered a few months later.
