Iberia used this aircraft to launch the Madrid-Shanghai route which marked the airline's return on the Asian market, a shopping tourism market targetted by the retail brand.

Kinmen is a group of islands governed by Taiwan, of which the main island is located only 2 kilometers away from the city of Xiamen in Mainland China. The island -which used to be served by TransAsia ATRs- is known for its iconic Wind Lion Gods shisa, which are stone guardian angel figures with extreme facial expressions. There are hundreds of these statues around the island, standing guard against the monsoon wind.

It also had a radio, a mobile comparator, a virtual make-up artist or a dressing room to combine clothes for sale in El Corte Inglés. Note EC-JSS had larger titles than EC-IOU.
