The 14th National Games of the People’s Republic of China coincided with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and were a major event in Shaanxi Province. Joy Air was based in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi and was a partner of the event. The mascots of the event were displayed on the port side of both aircraft, which wore different graphics adapted to fuselage size.

These titles promoted the launch of services in the Altay prefecture in Northern Xinjiang in cooperation with the local government. The airline established the first air links in the region on June 10, 2019, providing much quicker access to the touristic hotspots of the region than before. Note the titles were different on the two sides. Kanas Airport gives access to the scenic Kanas Lake.

Alxa League (or Ālāshàn league) is one of 12 prefecture level divisions and 3 extant leagues of Inner Mongolia. These titles were added in December 2018 when the airline celebrated 5 years of service to the Alxa League, where it served 3 airports (Alxa Zuoqi, Youqi and Ejinaqi).

Xiangyang

Xianyang is a prefecture in Shaanxi province, on the Wei River, just a few kilometers upstream (west) from Xi'an (which is Joy Air's main base). The city was the capital of China in the Qin dynasty (221 to 206 BC). This scheme served as postcard for Xianyang and aimed at promoting tourism to the city. Graphics were said to have been developped from the local river, a dragon and ancient city graphics.

Huangshan

Huangshan (literally Yellow Mountain) is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China. The area is well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly-shaped granite peaks, Huangshan pine trees, hot springs, winter snow, and views of the clouds from above. Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China's major tourist destinations. The pine tree featured aft of the cockpit windows was the famous "Ying Ke Pine", or "Welcome Pine".

This livery was the result of cooperation between the regional airline and the local tourism office.

Guanzhishan

Guanzhai Mountain (literally GuanzhiShan) is a top scenic spot in Liancheng County, Fujian province. Stone peaks up to 600m high are scattered in deep forest around the Shimen Lake in an area of around 120sq kilometers.

March 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of the first private airline in Mainland China. The titles show the hard times the airline went through, as well as its wilingness to continue to build its business. A total of six aircraft have had the special titles applied (on the port side only): 3 B738 (one at each of their Tianjin, Xi'An and Changsha bases) and 3 MA-60 (one at each of their Harbin, Yantai and Alxa bases).

This livery was unveiled in time to inaugurate Hefei's new Xinqiao international airport. The airport would open for commercial operations 4 days later. Joy Air was commited to connecting Hefei with regional cities.

CNR is the Chinese National Radio. On November 30th, 2010, it was the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Central People's Broadcasting Station. The livery was unveiled at Joy Air's base in Xi'An and officials flew onboard this plane to Yan'an where the country's broadcasting industry was born.
