In 2009 Windrose continued its partnership with Kiev artist Svetlana Lopukhova who designed unique liveries for the airline's two new E-Jets. This scheme is a mix of modern and colourful patterns and displays one of the country's major architectural landmarks: Saint Sophia's Cathedral in Kiev (port side only). Both sides were different.

Kamianets Podilskyi is a small Ukrainian city know for its castle. Note the "C" was later replaced by a "K" in the name of the village. Both sides were different.

The arrival of two new MD80 at Windrose was the occasion for CEO Vladimir Kamenchuk to adapt Ukrainian folk stylistics he always loved on airliners. The airline worked with sketches of Kiev artist Svetlana Lopukhova with the purpose of popularizing Ukrainian culture abroad.

The two planes were decorated with a mix of colourful modern patterns and illustrations of national folklore.

This second scheme was designed on the grounds of Ukrainian folk song Nese Halya vodu (Несе Галя воду, Halya Carries Water in English).

Storks were added on both sides of the plane (Stork is considered to be the national bird of Ukraine).

The front part of the starboard side of this plane was composed of an orange horse dressed with apple patterns and an Ukrainian cart with Cossacks in traditional clothing.

Storks were added on both sides of the plane (Stork is considered to be the national bird of Ukraine).
