This special scheme was unveiled in 2025 to celebrate the Dutch/Turkish travel company's 25th anniversary. The special design is the work of renowned Dutch tatoo artist Henk Schiffmacher and celebrates the company' adventurous spirit. The two sides are different and include a heart-shaped logo on engines that represent a pirate, the eternal wanderer of the seas.

This second version of the scheme shows the coordinates of the Climate Pledge Arena where the team plays at home; tail number 933 was chosen specifically as the local KJR-FM sports radio emits on 93.3 MHz.

Kukulkan (literally the feathered serpent) is the serpent deity of Maya mythology. Prominent temples to Kukulkan include El Castillo (Chichen Itza). The artwork shown on this brand new Max9 is the work of Edgar Flores "Saner", known for developing a style inspired by the folklore, colors, and mysticism of Mexican culture. This initiative was taken during the 90th anniversary celebrations of the airline.

The West Coast Wonders aircraft was delivered new to Alaska Airlines on January 5, 2022. It features orcas, symbols of the Northern Pacific Ocean. The orcas migrate each year along the US Pacific Coast between the Baja peninsula and Alaska, in a somehow similar pattern to what Alaska Airlines aircraft do.

Alaska is a partner of the Boeing ecoDemonstrator program, which saw this aircraft test flight about 20 new technologies to "enhance the safety and sustainability of air travel". This aircraft tested a new halon-free fire-extinguishing agent that significantly reduces effects on the ozone layer, an engine nacelle designed to reduce noise as well as cabin sidewalls made from recycled material, among others. The decals depicted sunset over the Pacific Northwest mountains. The aircraft was showcased at the 2021 Dubai Airshow and flew there via London (still with its test reg N60436). Decals were removed before delivery of the plane as N979AK.
