This airframe was the 400th E-Jet (E170-E190 family) built and this was celebrated by Embraer at its Sao José dos Campos facility, with the aircraft retaining a special decal for 6 years.

The flag of Arizona consists of 13 rays of red and gold on the top half, the colors of the flag of Spain, representing the 13 original states. The copper star represents the copper mining industry while the blue represents the Colorado River.

The design of the livery includes a silver star (a reference to the state's nickname, The Silver State) and the “Battle Born” banner referring to Nevada’s birth as a state during the Civil War in 1864. Green sagebrush (the state flower) with yellow flowers is dislayed around the star as it is on the flag.

Unlike the other 4 US Airways Heritage Jets, this aircraft never gained the American titles and was repainted in standard colours in 2015 as American decided to keep just one heritage scheme per airline.

The A319 was part of the 5 aircraft in the US Airways Heritage special schemes collection. Pidemont Airlines started operations in 1948 and was merged into US Air in 1989. It is the branch that developped the Charlotte hub in North Carolina. In 2014 titles were changed to American. In 2023 the scheme was transferred to an A321.

Named "Vistajet", like Allegheny's DC9-30s. The original A319 was part of the 5 aircraft in the US Airways Heritage special schemes collection. Allegheny Airways started operations in 1957 and changed its name to US Air in 1979. Originally based in Pittsburgh, it is at the core of US Airways' heritage. In 2014 titles were changed to American. In 2023 the special scheme was moved to an A321.

The A319 was part of the 5 aircraft in the US Airways Heritage special schemes collection. PSA - Pacific Southwest Airlines, started operations in 1949 and was merged into US Airways in 1988. The airline painted smiles on the nose of its aircraft and nicknamed them "Smileliners". In 2014 titles were changed to American. In 2023 the scheme was transferred to an A321.

As part of an inspection cycle to check lap joints on some 737, US Airways left these two airframes in a bare metal livery with standard titles. Very quickly though, special titles were added to promote the airline's website.
