Israir is a partner of philanthropic organization The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (also referred to as IFCJ or The Fellowship). Among others the charity faciliates the immigration of Jewish people to Israel. Israir A320s (as well as El Al and Ukraine International a/c) have sported small IFCJ stickers in the past on various occasions, but it was the first time large titles were added.
These four aircraft were used to carry Pope Francis during his January 2018 tour of Latin America. He also married two LATAM employees onboard the A321 during a flight between Santiago and Iquique. The 767 carried the Pope from Lima back to Rome.
Eid Mubarak or Blessed Feast is a traditional Muslim greeting celebrating the end of the Holy month Ramzan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr festival. The livery was designed in-house by Turkish Airlines. Note the iconography similarities with the Istanbul-San Francisco-themed 777 unveiled a few months earlier.
Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is a traditionalist Sunni Islam movement in Indonesia, the largest of its kind in the world. The organisation held its 33rd Congress in Jombang, East Java in early August 2015. Lion Air stated that 70 aircraft were to get the decals (note some of the fleet milestone specials also got these decals).
Muhammadiyah is a large Islamic organization in Indonesia. Its 45th Congress took place in Malang (East Java) in July 2005. The Lion Group was a partner of the event with its subsidiaries Lion Air & Wings Air.
