The Global Jet depicted Hello Kitty and her friends amid many of the world’s greatest landmarks. The colorful images were "an invitation for travelers to join Hello Kitty on her exciting travels to far-away destinations". The landmarks displayed included Taipei 101, the Temple of Heaven, a Dutch windmill, Mount Fuji, the Tokyo Tower, the Sydney Opera House, the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Note both sides were different.
Condor unveiled its first retrojet D-AICA in December 2011 as part of its 55th anniversary celebrations; this A320 was painted in a nostalgic design of the 1960s and named after Hans Geisler, the founder of Geisler Tours which in 1956 chartered for the first time a Deutsche Flugdienst (DFG) plane. In 1961 DFG became Condor Flugdienst.
D-AICA lost the scheme in late 2018 and D-AICH was repainted in the exact same livery (apart from the registration mark) in early 2019.
Yujiapu Financial District is a skyscraper development in the Tianjin Binhai New Area. Tianjin Airlines and the City Council teamed up to promote Tianjin as a major financial centre. The light gray shape was a map of the area.
Onur Air started operations in May 1992 and duly celebrated its 20th anniversary with special decals starting December 2011. Note the two A300 had basic Saudia liveries. In May-August 2013 titles were updated to 21 Years.
The Muppets are a group of puppet characters known for an absurdist, burlesque and self-referential style of variety-sketch comedy. This special decal promoted the release of The Muppets movie released in 2011.
"Apples care very close to Hello Kitty’s heart. She is five apples tall and weights three apples. Her favorite food is her mother’s homemade apple pie." Depicted along the fuselage of this aircraft were Hello Kitty and her friends, who happily shared their sweet apples with EVA Air’s passengers. Note both sides were different.
« Nature, Scenes, Beaches, Diving Spots, Rainforest ». The aircraft promoted Malaysia as a touristic destination for about 6 years. The tail featured the Petronas Twin Towers of Kuala Lumpur.
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship or Kujawy-Pomerania Province in Poland is served by Ryanair via its capital Bydgoszcz. Toruń is the second biggest city, with its reknown UNESCO World Heritage medieval town. The first decal visible on both sides of the three initial aircraft was succeeded by a new design with a more colourful decal, but on the port side only.
Live in the Vineyard is a biannual concert series set among the vineyards of Napa Valley north of San Francisco. These aircraft host surprise live performances by artists in anticipation of the event. N798SW was the first aircraft in the series to sport the new Southwest scheme.
Merauke is a city and regency (kabupaten or sub-region) in Papua Province, Indonesia. Merpati operated 3 B737 for the Merauke Government and linked the territory with other islands in the country. All three aircraft had a specific name and livery, this one being "Kli" with a stylized eagle. It remains unclear what Kli means or comes from, but it could refer to the local name for the green bird featured on the plane. "One Heart One Goal" is Menauke's official motto. The kabupaten's coat of arms was visible near the door. This is the third version of the livery was KLI titles again. The black & blue underside colours were disappered in 2013 for basic white. This aircraft was stored in 2013 and Merpati ceased operations in early 2014.
Perimeter Aviation is the largest carrier in Manitoba and is based in the province capital city Winnipeg. The airline is of particular significance to the province's northern communities, and it has an established partnership with Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO), the non-profit organisation representing the interests of the 30 sovereign First Nations people of Manitoba. Before Christmas the airline tours the Manitoba communities and distributes gift bags of candy and toys to children throughout MKO First Nations.
Fedex has a history of special wildlife transportation missions and has added decals on some occasions. In 2011 & 2012 777 N892FD carried two pandas from Chengdu to Edinburgh and a month later two other pandas to a French zoo. In 2013 the MD11 carried two pandas from China to the Toronto zoo. The 2017 mission was to transport three-year-old giant panda Bao Bao from Washington, D.C. to Chengdu. The November 2019 mission also consisted of the transportation of another giant panda (Bei Bei) from Washington back to Chengdu. In November 2023 N886FD flew three pandas from DC back to Chengdu via Anchorage; on that occasion small additional "Smithsonian's National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute" stickers were added.
The same photograph was used for all four jets. Additional bamboo leaves stickers were present on the 2011 & 2013 versions. A "Fedex cares" decal was present on the 2024 decal.
