The US Virgin Islands specialist based in Puerto Rico added a protective mask to one of its Saabs in 2020. Note the airline used a total of 8 Saab 340 with different sea animals tail designs alongside a fleet of Twin Otters.

Åland Islands’s autonomy will reach the milestone of 100 years on 9 June 2022. Although it belongs to Finland, Åland is autonomous and demilitarised since 1920, and has Swedish as official language. Celebrations started in June 2020 with special decals on this Air Leap Saab 340 which serves Mariehamn from Turku and Stockholm.

This was JAL's initiative in the aftermath of the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake which happened on September 6 and killed 41, mostly because of landslides in the area. JAL, J-Air & JAC incentives are in the form of lower airfares and campaigns to stimulate tourism to the island to help reconstruction. Note the decals were particularly small on the Saab.

Segodon is a Japanese television series starring Ryohei Suzuki and Fumi Nikaidō. It is the 57th taiga drama (an annual year-long historical fiction television drama) of the NHK network. The two sides were different with two characters seen in typical Amami Islands scenery.

Cayman Airways celebrated 50 years in 2018. The airline started operations on August 7, 1968 as the government of the islands bought Cayman Brac Airways from LACSA (Costa Rica) which had formed the venture and was using the island as a stop between Costa Rica and Miami. The whole fleet had the decals added.

Okinoerabujima is one of the Satsunan Islands, classed with the Amami archipelago between Kyūshū and Okinawa. This special decal was unveiled when the Okinoerabu Airport (served by JAC) was officially named Eburu Yuri Island Airport (えらぶゆりの島空港). Eburu Yuri is a species of white lilly which is native to Okinoerobu.

Takeda Castle is a ruined castle in the city of Asago, north of Kyoto. This scenic spot is served by JAC via Tajima Airport, which is linked to Osaka-Itami. Note the special decal was featured in very small size on the port side.

In 2015/2016 the Tajima Airport Council held a photo contest in which JA8642 with the special Takeda Castle decal was to be included. Winners were awarded free Tajima beef pieces (!).

This nice play on words was part of a joint campaign with the Kushiro city to stimulate traffic on the Sapporo-Okadama to Kushiro route. This intra-Hokkaido route was selected by the Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism in its «Rural Air Services Revitalization Program» and benefits from state funding. Note both sides were different.

The Sapporo city is a natural partner for HAC, which is based in the Sapporo downtown airfield of Okadama. "Sapporo Smile" is a city promotion strategy of the city which began with the theme of "The city that can become a smile". Note that due to the large size of the cargo door on the port side decals were different on both sides. JA01HC wore the full HAC green livery while '02 & '03 were in JAL Arc of the Sun scheme.
