The Amur Tiger Centre is an autonomous non-commercial organization established for the preservation of the Amur (Siberian) tiger. It was founded in July of 2013 by the Russian Geographic Society at the initiative of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Transaero teamed up with the organization to shed light on the conservation project with an opportunity to watch documentaries filmed by the Amur Tiger Center while on board, as well as a dedicated wildlife section in the in-flight magazine of the airline. The project was taken over by Rossiya with a slightly different design.

Flight of Hope

These two 747 displayed numerous palm prints of Russian celebrities, well-known writers, artists, actors, businessmen and sportsmen who supported the Flight of Hope project. During these particular flights, funds were raised to help children with life-threatening heart, brain and spine diseases. The donations were made possible by a partnership with the Life Line Charity Fund and onboard internet connectivity.

The first charity flight was UN 999/888 between Moscow-Vnukovo and Miami on November 16, 2013. For each Flight of Hope Transaero topped up the money raised by passengers by donating the value of the ticket price of a randomly-chosen passenger.
