Sanxingdui (literally the 'Three Star Mound') is an archaeological and major Bronze Age culture site located in modern Guanghan, Sichuan. Capital Airlines teamed up with Sanxingdui Museum to create this gold and bronze special scheme. The design was inspired by artefacts found at the site like bronze masks, flying wings, dragons and the sunbird on the sacred tree. This flying postcard of the ancient Shu Kingdom located in what is now Sichuan province will initially mainly fly from Chengdu.

This livery was unveiled in January 2021 at Meizhou Meixian Airport in Guangdong; it serves as a flying postcard for the locally grown pomelo and aims at promoting rural revitalization in Guangdong province. The design incorporates a stylized Meizhou flower "Meihua/plum blossom", the pomelo, the "Keke" and "Dudu" mascots. Colors and patterns point to Meizhou's "green water and green mountains".

While Hainan Airlines remains based in Beijing Capital Airport, its subsidiary Capital Airlines moved to Daxing with the opening of the second gateway to Beijing. This special scheme was designed in cooperation with the Beijing Daxing District Government and unveiled a few days prior to the airport opening in September 2019. It features a deep sky blue with Beijing’s iconic architectural elements: Tian’anmen, the Temple of Heaven, the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. This aircraft performed the very first flight of the airline at Daxing on September 25, 2019 with Captain Li Daxing at the commands.
