This aircraft showed the contestants in two music shows that aired on MBN network in 2023/2024: on the port side, The King of Active Singers with female singers that were the final 7 contestants for Korea in a match against Japan. On the starboard side were the contestants of The Burning Roses, a spinoff show with the Top-7 contestants of "Burning Trotman", a male singer competition for Korean "trot" music.

The orange mouse is the main character of the animated interludes of a well-known educational children's series on German TV called The Show with the Mouse (Die Sendung mit der Maus); an episode of the series detailed the assembly of this very aircraft back in 1999.

In February 2019 the aircraft was repainted in the latest LH scheme and the decals were slightly modified, now including a smaller blue elephant, a friend of the mouse in the show. Decals are now visible on the port side of the plane only.

Segodon is a Japanese television series starring Ryohei Suzuki and Fumi Nikaidō. It is the 57th taiga drama (an annual year-long historical fiction television drama) of the NHK network. This jet featured 5 actors of the cast and served the Haneda-Kagoshima route among others, with the Kagoshima prefecture being the decor for the drama.

These short-lived special titles by the Southwest branch of CA were unveiled for Chinese New Year celebrations which took place onboard this very A321 on the CA9696 Beijing to Chengdu flight during 2016 New Year's Eve. Special attention was given to passengers who could not join their families in time for the celebrations, and live broadcast of the CCTV New Year's Eve Gala was available onboard, a first in China.
