China Eastern teamed up with Tencent Games to promote Moonlight Blade, a Chinese massively multiplayer online martial art game (MMO). The front decal showed Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen who is the performer of "Ocean over Time", the game's theme song. Short-lived decals, and on the port side only.

The decals were added a month after the aircraft was assigned to the Northwest branch based in Xi'an.

The central theme of the game is the representation of World War II warships as cute human girls with personality characteristics reflecting the history of each ship.
