To celebrate its 80 Years in 2009, Aeropostal of Venezuela painted this Series 32 workhorse in a retro scheme. On March 10, 2011, it made the last flight of a Series 30 for the airline and is now preserved in Caracas.

Davao City is the most populous city on the island of Mindanao. The special scheme featured the silhouette of Mount Apo. Durian is known as Davao’s signature fruit and was depicted at the front of the fuselage, together with other fruits at the rear of the plane. The head of a Philippine Eagle, the national bird, was also depicted. The largest numbers of eagles reside on Mindanao.

Cebu gave the airline its name and it was also the airline's very first destination from Manila when the airline started operations on March 16, 1996. This scheme celebrated Cebu City, the most populous city in the Visayas Islands. Cebu has a long history of guitar making due to its traditional industry. Most of the guitar manufacturers are family-owned enterprises passed on from one generation to another. Mangos were visible on the front part of the plane, with the underwater world depicted on the rear part.

Celebrating the Centennial of the Philippine Declaration of Independence which was proclaimed in 1898 (the country however did not gained independence from the USA until 4 July 1946). This scheme was unveiled at a time when the country's flag carrier Philippines Airlines was in deep financial struggle.

The Philippines as seen by Cebu Pacific. One of 5 special liveries unveiled by Cebu in the late nineties/early 2000s. RP-C1535 was the first aircraft wearing a full special scheme in the Southeast Asia region when it was bought from Air Canada in December 1997. The colourful special scheme celebrated the young airline's effort to make domestic travel in the Philippines more affordable. The airframe was withdrawn from use in 2001 and the livery later re-appeared on sistership RP-C1546 with some very minor changes in the livery.

On July 21, 1982 TDA operated special "Arcadia-Go" flights from Haneda to "unknown destinations" with large Arcadia titles and tail logo. This was a an event in cooperation with the producers of the Space Pirate Captain Harlock manga and anime television series. Arcadia is the name of the spaceship of Captain Harlock.

Featuring the Great Barrier Reef. TAA was one of the very first airlines to introduce special liveries. This aircraft promoted tourism in Queensland. Four liveries were initially planned, however due to a downturn in economy in the early 1980s, only two ever took off, the other one being 727 "Central Australian".
