Cebu gave the airline its name and it was also the airline's very first destination from Manila when the airline started operations on March 16, 1996. This scheme celebrated Cebu City, the most populous city in the Visayas Islands. Cebu has a long history of guitar making due to its traditional industry. Most of the guitar manufacturers are family-owned enterprises passed on from one generation to another. Mangos were visible on the front part of the plane, with the underwater world depicted on the rear part.
