This third scheme in the JAL Group promoting the Expo 2025 World Fair taking place in Osaka features popular Japanese robot RX-78F00/E Gundam as well as the Myaku Myaku mascot of the Expo. The Gundam franchise owned by Bandai Namco teamed up with the Expo team to run a Gundam Pavilion - Next Future private pavilion at the event.

Expo 2025 is a World's Fair to be held in Osaka in 2025 with the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives". Note the logo of the Expo has changed from the logo used when it was a candidate city back in 2018 (as seen on Peach and Jetstar Japan aircraft). Note the differences with the livery worn by J-Air E190 JA252J.

JAL unveiled its final logojet for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics just a few days prior to the opening of the Games. It was the third of the "Fly for it! - Everybody's Jal 2020 Jet" series, and for the very first time the Tsurumaru logo was painted gold on a JAL aircraft. This was to show the airline's support to the Japanese athletes, of whom 16 were displayed on the two sides of this A350 flying domestic routes: the decals included, on the port side, from left to right: Kazuma Kaya, Maai Murakami, Daiki Hashimoto and Kohei Uchimura (Gymnastics), Kei Nishikiori (Tennis), Nasa Hataoka (Golf), Takuya Haneda (Canoe), Ayumu Uekusa (Judo) and Hiroaki Kasai (Wheelchair Basketball). The starboard side included from the front: Kano Nijiki (Fencing), Kitaguchi Haruka and Tobe Naoto (Athletics), Abe Shi, Uta Abe and Shohei Ohno (Judo) as well as Yui Kamiji (Wheelchair Tennis).

ANA and JAL are both official sponsors of the Tokyo 2020 Games and this rare "jointly-branded" aircraft was used to carry the Olympic Torch from Athens to Matsushima Air Self Defense Force base in Miyagi Prefecture on March 20,2020. This aircraft was not used for the torch relay in Japan itself and the special decals were removed shortly after the torch arrived in the country.

Both ANA & JAL are official sponsors of the 2020 Summer Olympics to be held in Tokyo. They teamed up with a common motto to increase momentum for the event. JAL introduced 3 different logojets before the event. This second special livery was also flown on domestic flights, mainly from Haneda and Itami. The mascots of the Olympics (Milightwa - ミライトワ) and Paralympics (Somety - ソメイティ) were both visible on this plane; note both sides were different.

Nanki–Shirahama Airport is a third class airport serving the Wakayama area and the southern part of the Kii Peninsula. Its only scheduled service is the 3-daily JAL/J-Air return to Tokyo-Haneda. This special livery was unveiled to commemorate the opening of the airport and the opening of the JAL link in partnership with the Wakayama Prefecture tourism board. Panda Wakapan is the prefecture's mascot; it refers to the giant pandas that live in the nearby Adventure World park, one of the touristic spots in the area.

The OkinawaPlus one-day journey was launched by JTA and the local Ryugin Bank: on April 29, 2017, various speakers and performers from Okinawa flew from Naha to Miyakojima onboard this 737 to share their home and connect the rest of Japan to Okinawa. The day continued with a lunch on the beach and an afternoon filled with music, ideas, magic and water-sports activities. JTA then hosted the evening venue with food and entertainment at its facilities. Short-lived decals on the port side only.

The nationwide sports and recreation festival was a recreation festival in Japan that was held between 1988 and 2011 and was organized at prefecture level. Most of the fleet wore the decals except JA8475 (in basic SWAL c/s at the time) and JA8445 (uncertain). Shisa-kun (-シーサーくん) was one of the very first mascots to be displayed on a plane (nose art logo is unrelated).
