Miyagi Prefecture is the central prefecture in the Tōhoku region with capital Sendai. As the local regional airline, Ibex is a logical partner of the prefecture and city tourism board and it was decided that starting May 2018 a CRJ of the airline was to sport decals of the mascot of the prefecture to boost tourism. The mascot is called Musubimaru and represents the region's abundant food with a "rice ball face" and the helmet with crescent of regional ruler of the Edo period Masamune Date.
This is the third version of the scheme with the port side being on the theme of "The Joy of Flying and Traveling" with a rainbow while the starboard side shows promotes highlights of Miyagi tourism.
The Sydney Mardi Gras is an annual LGBT pride parade and festival in Sydney. Qantas is a sponsor of the event and has had a float participate in the parade called the Gay380 since 2015.
In June 2021 Aeromexico celebrated the International Pride Day with the rainbow symbol of the LGBTQ + community subtly replacing its standard red curved line on this MAX8.
Several rainbow planes adorned the fuselage of this A320 between 2021 and 2022. The decals were unveiled on June 15, 2021 on the occasion of 4 Alaska Airlines' "Delight Flights" and celebrations of the Pride month. The aircraft flew from Seattle via Portland and San Francisco to San Diego with employees and specially invited guests. The cabin of the aircraft was also fully decorated for the event. Alaska usually operates a "Delight Flight" every month with special treats and gifts for customers.

Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl is an organisation campaigning for the rights of LGBTIQ+ in Luxemburg; it teamed up with Luxair on the occasion of the June "Pride Month" 2021.
In 2019 Air Transat tweaked its logo as part of the June month dubbed the "International Pride Month" in support of the LGBT community. A very slightly different decal was added in 2022 on an A321neo.
In 2017 this special LGBT rainbow edition of the Thomas Cook sunny heart logo was added on A321 TCDE to mark the carrier's sponsorship of Manchester Pride parade held every August in the city. Five A330 then sported the decal in 2018/19, including OY-VKF of the Scandinavian branch which flew as usual for the British branch in Summertime.
