As a tribute to International Women's Day taking place on 8 March, Myanmar's Ministry of Social Welfare held a Women’s Week – Myanmar event to raise gender equality issues. The decals were very short-lived.

Air KBZ was another sponsor of the 27th Southeast Asian Games which took place in Nay Pyi Taw in December 2013. Owls Shwe Yoe & Ma Moe were the mascots of the event. Owls are auspicious animals in Burmese tradition, in addition to being traditionnaly dubbed wise and calm. 6 ATRs of the airline carried decals of the mascots playing each a different sport.
