HB-JJF B767-316ER TUI NL [+] » Eurowings (opb Privat Air) 2017-18

In Summer 2017 TUI Netherlands leased the Privat Air 767 and launched a design competition where everyone could submit its livery design. The theme had to include a Dutch touch or be full of holiday inspiration. The winner was the "Destinations" design by Jana. The aircraft was transferred to Eurowings the following winter and the special livery was kept while the logo and titles were modified.

OO-JAF B737-8K5 TUI Belgium  [+] 2016-

Family Life is a TUI Group hotel brand focused on the family market. Extras like children's buffets, activities, kids clubs & family-size rooms come as standard. At the launch of the livery there were 13 Family Life Hotels in the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.

The two mascots of the Bamse Club for 3-6 year-old are featured on the fuselage. The club was initially launched for the Scandinavian branches of the TUI Group and features Bamse the Bear (Bamse is literally Teddy Bear in the Nordic languages) and Thomson the Dog. For the record Bamse the bear already appeared on the nose of a Scanair DC-10 in the 1990s (SE-DHS).

Note G-FDZG was leased to Sunwing in Winter 2018/2019 (as C-FRZG) and the basic blue background with the Bamse & Thomson decals remained.

In late 2004 Britannia Airways AB/Britannia Nordic - while still trading simply as Britannia (yet with swedish-registered planes) - started flying partly with the titles of the tour operators it was flying for. Fritidsresor is the Swedish one which was at the origin of the split of the scheduled and charter operations of Transwede in 1996, the charter part trading under the Transwede Leisure name, which in turn quickly became Blue Scandinavia (the predecessor of Britannia Sweden), a period from which it still retains its 'Bluescan' radio callsign.

StarTour is the Norwegian tour operator which also became part of the TUI Group in the early 2000s; the airline is indeed also flying from Norway as well as Finland. The side on which the titles were applied varied as well; it is indicated here with the 'port side|starboard side' pattern, with FR for Fritidsresor and ST for StarTour.
