The seventh ICC Cricket Men's T20 World Cup tournament takes place in the UAE & Oman in late 2021. Emirates was a sponsor of the event. Both sides were slightly different.

Emirates became a sponsor of the cricket World Cup in 1999. Cricket is mostly played in Commonwealth countries, which are the mainstay of the markets served by EK. Twenty years later a third scheme finally took to the skies. The 2019 ICC World Cup was held between May 30 and July 14, 2019 in England and Wales.

Emirates was once again a partner of the Cricket World Cup, after having been a sponsor of the 1999 edition. The event was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015. Ten A380 had decals added in early 2015: A6-EDA|E|M|N|O|Z & A6-EEF|H|K|Q.

Emirates became a sponsor of the cricket World Cup in 1999. Cricket is mostly played in Commonwealth countries, which are the mainstay of the markets served by EK. In an event in its Dubai hangars, 6 cricket players from 3 nations joined forces to affix the decal on one of the airline's 777. The whole fleet of 777 (of which it only had 9 units of the -200 variant at the time) wore the stickers during spring 1999. They were joined by the two first A330s.
