Pegasus took delivery of its 100th aircraft the year the Republic of Turkey celebrated its 100th anniversary and this special scheme celebrates both events. An artistic rendering of the head of
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding father of the Republic, adorns the tail of the aircraft. While standard Pegasus aircraft are named after the first names of the children of airline employees, this one is named "Cumhuriyet" which translates as Republic.
