On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the
independence of Indonesia on August 17, 2023, Garuda unveiled this green-themed scheme. The livery highlights the airline's efforts towards sustainable operations in partnership wit -among others- fuel producer Pertamina, which helps the airline test blends of kerosen with palm oil as an alternative aviation fuel.
