Avianca & TACA completed their merger in May 2013 and Avianca celebrates the TACA/LACSA heritage with this LACSA retrojet. Avianca Costa Rica is still active today as the Costa Rican branch of the airline and is today's incarnation of the airline formerly known as LACSA, whose identity had already been diluted in the TACA brand in the mid-2000s.
