On the occasion of its 60th anniversary celebrations, Luxair organised a #FlyingIsAnArt competition and invited artists to draw their vision of the future of the airline. Marco Weiten's design of the Luxembourg symbol Roude Léiw (Red Lion) rising from its ashes like a phoenix was chosen among more than 60 entries. Weiten is known for his work trying to restore the
letters of nobility to contemporary animal painting.
