Eurowings a partner of Borussia Dortmund football club since 2016. The club's full name is "Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund", usually shortened to BVB09 (where 09 is related to its 1909 establishing year). This aircraft is the second BVB09 logojet for the airline after D-AIZS; note the two sides are different and depict nine legendary moments in the club history. It is dedicated to the fans of the team, which were involved in the choice of the moments to be displayed on the plane. The livery was designed and implemented in the unique drawing style of the football artists "Hands of God".
