A large set of icons promoted the state of Alagoas, a small state in northeastern Brazil with a tropical coastline of palm-lined, white-sand beaches, clear lagoons and coral reefs. Its capital is Maceió. The latter is served by Azul hence the partnership with the state tourism office.
