Bamboo Airways introduced initially two E-Jets leased from Great Dane Airways in September 2020 to serve the island of Côn Sơn (Côn Đảo archipelago) and its short runway. Flights to Hanoi, Hai Phong and Vinh were started and the airline initiated a partnership with the local authorities on a sea turtle conservation program.
