The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a trade fair held in Shanghai every year in Automn since 2018. The expo is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government and "has the purpose of replacing US products with products from other countries". ; as for B-2002 at China Eastern, B-5940 is referred to as the "Jinbo" (进博) aircraft, Jinbo being a short name for the CIIE. The livery features Jinbao (进宝), the panda mascot of the event as well as auspicious four-leaf clovers.
