Sriwijaya Air & affiliate NAM Air sponsor the wildlife protection programme for endangered
Orangutans. The airline teamed up with Bank Kalteng to organize a charity fun run dubbed "oRUNgutan" in late September 2019 aiming at raising awareness of wildlife conservation issues. The airline also offers promotional packages including the entrance fee to
Tanjung Puting National Park which can be reached via
Pangkalan Bun Iskandar Airport in southern Borneo.
