ADNOC stands for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and is UAE's largest company. It is a state-owned corporation (as is the case with Etihad). This series of specials is a joint effort to highlight ADNOC's key international trading markets, industry partners, and destinations served by Etihad. The UAE is the second largest exporter of crude oil to Japan, with strong bilateral economic relations dating back to 1962. The livery consists of stylized lotus flowers (suiren in Japanese).
