On July 2, 2019 Chile witnessed a total eclipse of the sun. National Geographic teamed up with SKY Chile to charter this A320neo and fly at 39'000ft during the eclipse to record the phenomenon. A total of 62 passengers, scientists and members of National Geographic as well as 10 people selected via social media in partnership with Samsung, were onboard the special flight. Decals were short-lived.
