B-306F is A320 Family msn 8888 and was delivered to China Eastern on April 29, 2019 as the 88th aircraft assembled at the Tianjin Plant. It is also the 66th A320 Family aircraft assigned to China Eastern Jiangsu, which is based in Nanjing. These are three very auspicious numbers in China and they were celebrated with a short-lived decal on the plane.

As of the end of March 2019, China Eastern has operated a total of 371 Airbus aircraft, including 311 A320 series aircraft.
