This special livery was the first applied by inkjet painting process in China; it shows typical Guizhou hill scenery as well as two touristic hotspots:
Huangguoshu Waterfall and Mushroom Rock (close to sacred
Fanjingshan). Blue and white are the traditional colours of
Batik of Guizhou ethnic minorities, and appropriately match China Southern's corporate colours. B-6068 (standard grey engine cowlings) was unveiled in the scheme in January 2019 with B-6069 (white engine cowlings with Guizhou titles) joining in April of the same year.
Guizhou Airlines was established in 1991 in the
province of the same name with the help of China Southern and was integrated into the latter in 1998. As of 2019 it operates 20 B737-800 from the province's capital city Guiyang.
