Air Arabia & FlyDubai joined Emirates & Etihad for a flypast over the UAE as a centrepiece performance to celebrate the UAE’s 47th National Day and the Year of Zayed on December 1, 2018. Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was the principal driving force behind the formation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and subsequent president of the union from 1971 until his death in 2004.
