Air China was an official sponsor of the 2019 Horticultural Expo, which was held in the Yanqing District in Beijing. The Expo, which was organised under the theme “Live Green, Live Better”, took place between 29 April and 7 October 2019. The special scheme was unveiled a year before the opening and "Dream Seeds" were distributed to passengers onboard the inaugural flight.
