ATA Airlines is based in Tabriz and was a partner of the city's 2018 tourism campaign, trigerred by the fact that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation named it Exemplary Tourist City of 2018. Tabriz lies in Northwestern Iran and is the capital of the East Azerbaijan province. Note EP-TAN had larger titles than EP-TAR; EP-TAG had the basic livery of previous operator Aurora.
