EC-MKI A330-202 Iberia  [+] 2016-17

On September 22, 1946, Iberia made its first flight between Europe and Latin America, with final destination Buenos Aires, becoming the first airline to offer regular flights to that region after the Second World War. Displayed on the port side of that A330 were the flags of Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay; these were the 16 countries served by the airline in Latin America at the time of the 80th anniversary of the flight. The logos of a few companies also present in Latin America and sponsoring the celebrations were also visible.
