The third aircraft of ANA's "Star Wars Project" aiming at raising brand awareness on a global scale was unveiled on March 26, 2016. BB-8 is a new droid character in the series, appearing for the first time in the 2015 movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens which premiered in December 2015. This aircraft primarily served the US market.
