The patterns shown on this A319 are those of the Copacabana promenade in Rio, which was designed by landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The 4-kilometer long promenade uses wavy black and white Portuguese pavement design since its origin in the 1930s. On March 1st, 2015, the city of Rio de Janeiro celebrated its 450th birthday and TAM took part in the celebrations.
