These titles were added in September 2013 to celebrate the 50th Malaysia Day, which taked place every 16 September since 1963. This holiday does not celebrate independence (which was on August 31, 1957), but the establishment of the Malaysian federation with the joining together of Malaya (itsself already a federation), North Borneo (Sabah) and Sarawak to form Malaysia. These two last states form the home market of MASwings.
Note the ATR -600s were stored in 2015 as a cost-cutting measure.
