This livery was commissionned by the airline in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the aircraft displays drawings by Taiwanese illustrator and picture book writer
Jimmy Liao. Markings were different on both sides and showed children hugging endangered animals and the earth: on the port side were displayed a Taiwan
white dolphin, a rhinoceros and a polar bear while the starboard side showed a penguin, an owl and a green turtle from
Penghu (Pescadores) Islands. This livery was a testimony of the airline’s and the island’s awareness of climate change issues.
