The "Mohican" livery adorned ANA aircraft from 1969 until 1989 and twenty years later it was decided to revive it on a 767 after the idea of an employee. This aircraft/livery combination was something new as ANA took delivery of its first 767-200 in 1983 (with the first 767-300 delivered in 1987) and none ever wore the Mohican livery during active service before JA602A. The tail logo featured the original Leonardo da Vinci helicopter motif. The retrojet started revenue service on December 1, 2009 and was initially assigned to the Miyazaki and Kagoshima routes from Haneda, which were the traditionnal honeymoon destinations of the Mohican era.
