Displaying cartoon characters by Malaysian artist Dato’ Lat. According to AirAsia, the design depicted Malaysians united in a celebratory mood. The tail had tones of nationalism which meant "Malaysians standing tall as one under the colours of the Malaysian flag". Note both sides showed different characters.
