Winner design of an online design submission poll. The rainbow ribbon represented Shanghai’s passion and hospitality. The logo on the engines was the Expo volunteers logo, with their motto "At your service at the Expo" below the registration mark. Additional "Better flight, better trip" titles also highlighted the airline's commitment to Expo visitors.

Note the winning design originally had blue engines and a blue tail with the logo of the expo, however the livery was simplified before it was applied.
