A partnership between TUIfly and German confectionery company
Haribo developped in December 2008 when this 737 was painted all blue with red Haribo billboard titles. A giant yellow "Gold-Bear" mascot was visible on the tail; the Haribo company had sold its first
Gummy bears in the 1920s and the well-known gold variant that we know today -the one the Haribo mascot on the tail refers to- appeared in 1967. The aircraft became the first flying ambassador for the company, and its success prompted the design of two further liveries in 2010 & 2015.
