Merauke is a city and regency (kabupaten or sub-region) in Papua Province, Indonesia. Merpati operated 3 B737 for the Merauke Government and linked the territory with other islands in the country. All three aircraft had a specific name and livery, this one being "Aoba" with is believed to be the name of the blue heron featured on the aircraft. "One Heart One Goal" is Menauke's official motto. The kabupaten's coat of arms was visible near the door. The titles were enlarged in due course.
