This aircraft received special decals upon delivery at the Boeing factory in Renton. The titles celebrated the first Transpacific Flight by Charles Kingsford Smith onboard the 'Southern Cross' Fokker F.VII between May 31 and June 09, 1928. The aircraft was delivered following the same routing and flew Seattle-Oakland-Honolulu-Nadi-Brisbane.
