The
2000 AFC Asian Cup football tournament was hosted by Lebanon and a selection of aircraft in the fleet wore decals on the occasion. The mascot of the event was prominently displayed on all aircraft in the fleet; it had been designed by graphic design student Ali Baasiri. Dubbed Nour, or light, the mascot was inspired by the fast-flying gray sparrow, which according to the author symbolizes both friendliness and dynamism.
